GCCEC Takes Home Top Honour for Most Outstanding Marketing Campaign at ABEA Awards

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) has been awarded Most Outstanding Marketing Campaign at the prestigious Australian Business Events Awards, held this week at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.

The award-winning campaign features a day-in-the-life-of recruitment video that showcases real team members in their actual roles. The campaign extended beyond the video to include a new careers webpage, branded email signatures, bespoke social media assets, and a targeted paid advertising strategy.

Challenged with recruitment of various roles across the business, the marketing team developed the concept of showcasing the variety of roles and the exciting dynamic and collaborative nature of working in the event industry.

The campaign has already delivered outstanding results, with the video amassing over 15,000 views in just 8 weeks and applications for certain roles increasing by up to 54%.
