Testimonials
Callum
Senior Event Supervisor
I enjoy working with such a diverse team with all different kinds of backgrounds and experience, and executing great events.
I have been given some great opportunities at GCCEC. I started as a casual event assistant while studying at uni. Since finishing, have taken two steps up into a casual event supervisor and then a full time senior event supervisor.
The benefits I appreciate the most are have free and secure parking (massively under-appreciated), and having uniforms supplied and cleaned for us.
Lily
Audio Visual Technician
Working in the technology department at GCCEC offers the excitement of tackling something new every day. The chance to work with true industry leaders has enabled me to rapidly grow and excel in my field.
While GCCEC provides many perks, the supportive team is the highlight for me. The positive atmosphere throughout the venue makes coming to work a genuine pleasure.
Matt
Technical Event Manager
I enjoy working alongside a passionate team of creative and dedicated people who consistently deliver exceptional Live Production experiences!
Wendy
Kitchen Services Attendant
Working here over the past two years everyone has treated me like family. It has been my pleasure working for such a wonderful company that shows and gives support and will listen to their employees.
I have been given the opportunity to participate and grow into two roles which I enjoy.
Leone
Assistant Floor Manager
In my 7 years here at GCCEC I have been supported and encouraged to develop my skills by my department leads. Over the years I have been an event assistant, trainee supervisor, event supervisor, senior event supervisor and now an assistant floor manager.
I have developed so much knowledge about the events and hospitality business and have had on site training such as RMLV, barista training, bar training and many more. This is a truly inspiring place to work with such incredibly encouraging leaders.
Adam
Maintenance Supervisor
I enjoy working with good people which creates a good working environment and being part of some great events and shows. With this role, I have had the opportunity to upskill my electrical trade and complete a thermography course.
Danielle
Safety and Security
I am fortunate to have been working at GCCEC for over 6 years in the Security Dept and no 2 days are the same with different events always in house!
I started as an Event Guard and have stepped up to being a Control Room Operator. I enjoy every staff member I meet as they are always friendly and always ready to help any way they can.
