Update from GCCEC January 2023

27 January 2023

As we are gearing up for a busy 2023, we’d like to wish you a very happy new year and thank you for being part of our community.

Over the past six months there’s been a significant increase in enquiries fuelled by renewed confidence and a strong desire to meet in person, further stimulated by a generous business event support program offered by Queensland government.

We are confident that this trend will continue throughout the year as pent-up demand keeps us all engaged. Date flexibility will be key to securing the venue and destination of choice over the next 12-18 months.

Wellness and sustainability are high on the agenda for clients  incorporating outdoor areas, healthy menus and green initiatives into programs.

Sustainability has been important to GCCEC since opening over 18 years ago. We were the first convention centre to achieve platinum status through EarthCheck and we will continue to champion green initiatives throughout 2023.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Centre soon!
