The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre recently hosted its highly anticipated annual Build a Bike event, a heartwarming initiative that not only brought the community together but also made a significant impact on deserving families in the local Gold Coast and Toowoomba region. In collaboration with Act for Kids, Mikes Bikes Gold Coast, Dreamweavers Event Productions and our dedicated suppliers, we are proud to announce that this year’s event resulted in a record-breaking donation of 86 bikes, just in time for Christmas.
Working with Act for Kids
Act for Kids, a renowned organisation dedicated to supporting at-risk families allowed us to channel our collective efforts towards a great cause, bringing joy and smiles to those who needed it the most during the festive season. The 86 bikes donated will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of the recipient families, providing not only a means of transportation but also a source of joy and togetherness.
Community Unity
The Build a Bike event was not just about assembling bicycles; it was a celebration of community spirit and unity.
