Australia's Gold Coast

The place for new experiences

There’s never been a better time to visit the Gold Coast – Australia’s postcard-perfect coastal playground is in the midst of a 21st-century renaissance! The Gold Coast remains the country’s premier tourist destination (attracting more than 10 million visitors each year), and beneath the surface, the city’s culinary, musical and cultural identity is surging.

A calendar of new art festivals, and on-trend cafes and restaurants along our glorious coastline are all laid out for visitors to experience. All told, the Gold Coast offers more attractions and events than any other destination in the Southern Hemisphere. The GCCEC team could hardly be prouder of our venue; just quietly, we’re every bit as proud of our city.

GOLD COAST FAST FACTS:

Team building

When your delegates visit the Gold Coast, they’re likely expecting some fun... and they’ve certainly got the right idea.

The city is full of activities perfect for conventioneers or business event delegates hoping to make their stay special: on-water adventures, adrenalised action, chilled eco-experiences and Australian wildlife and Indigenous adventures.

Our iconic oceanfront hosts everything from yachting to kayaking and deep sea fishing, while groups looking for a change of pace might try a V8 Supercars experience or a hair-raising jetboat ride.

Our famous theme parks offer corporate packages for bucket list items such as swimming with SeaWorld’s dolphins or getting up close and personal with the spellbinding tigers at Dreamworld.

When you add to the list some of Australia’s best golf courses, whale watching and even the chance to learn to surf, the only limit becomes your imagination.
