The Star Gold Coast

The Star Entertainment Group, an ASX 100 listed company, owns and operates The Star Sydney, The Star Gold Coast and Treasury Casino & Hotel in Brisbane. It also manages the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on behalf of the Queensland Government.

The Star Gold Coast is currently undergoing a $345 million expansion and refurbishment project, one of the largest hotel refurbishments ever undertaken in Australia.

Linkage Grants Program

GCCEC’s Linkage Grant Program assists in the professional and personal development of individuals by funding their attendance at an international conference in their chosen field. The grant covers travel, accommodation and registration expenses to the maximum value of the award.

To be eligible to win a GCCEC Linkage Grant, research an international conference that has the potential to be held at the GCCEC and follow the application guidelines and criteria provided.
