Update from GCCEC June 2022

26 June 2022

This month, the Centre will be a full house with over 20 conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and high-profile industry events – both interstate and international.

There’s a feeling of positive energy surrounding business events as we are invigorated by the ability to get back to business as usual.

Attendance across the board is growing from previously ‘careful’ numbers to capacity.  We’re seeing creativity in events with planners going the extra mile to ensure that meetings are more memorable and more valuable than ever. We’re also experiencing a heightened awareness of sustainable practices in event planning.

Although staffing remains a challenge as the sector recovers from losses during the pandemic, our clients and visitors are reporting high levels of satisfaction and a commitment to return to GCCEC and the Gold Coast.

Over the past months, we’ve developed a suite of videos that we hope you’ll find valuable and inspirational. They cover sustainability, international bidding and event case studies.

I hope you enjoy these resources, our news and we look forward to welcoming you to the Centre soon.

From Domino’s to Deloitte, and AREC to Adventure Expo, the videos allow a peek behind the curtain of events for industry, corporates and associations.
