Parking at the GCCEC

Undercover car spaces are available for short-term parking. A $12 inclusive of GST flat rate is charged for car parking at the centre.

Opening Hours?

The car park will be open 24hrs, 7 days a week, with some exceptions being when no events are in-house and on some public holidays. The GCCEC will close the car park at its discretion. Please check with us for further details.

What is the maximum vehicle height?

2.1 metres

How much does parking cost?

A daily rate of $12 (inclusive of GST) is charged for car parking at the Centre. 

How do I pay for parking?

There are 5 conveniently located automatic pay stations in the car park so you can easily pre-pay prior to exiting. This means everyone can easily get in and out of the car park even at the busiest times. There is also a pay lane device situated at the exit. Please note the signage to ensure you are in the correct exit lane. Pay stations accept all coins (except 5c), $5 $10 & $20 notes, Visa/Mastercard, and they provide change.

How do I get a receipt?

When you pay at the automatic pay stations press the receipt button, this will generate a receipt that can be collected from the change flap. Alternatively, when paying at our exit booth please request a receipt from the car park attendant, prior to making payment.

Please note we are unable to issue receipts if you pay at the pay station then request a receipt from our car parking attendant.

The Pay Station will not accept my ticket or money?

Please press the assistance button on the pay station machine and advise the staff member of the problem you are experiencing.

When are car park exit booths attended?

There are attendants located in the exit booths during peak periods. When the car park exits are not staffed, payment must be made at the automatic pay stations.

How do I exit?

Please pay your ticket at any of our 5 automatic pay stations prior to returning to your car. Once you are in your car please follow the arrows and exit signs. At the exit insert your paid ticket into the exit machine and the gate will rise.

Can you pre-purchase tickets?

For Event Organisers only, arrangements can be made to purchase pre-paid tickets with your Event Manager prior to the event commencing. The charge remains $12 for all-day parking (1 exit only) unless a multi-day pass has been approved. This will be charged back to the Clients master account.

Trade and pre-approved multi-day passes?

For Event Organisers only, a multi-entry pass can be purchased through your Event Manager. Management reserves the right to offer multi-day passes.

Large entertainment events and traffic?

During events with significant patron numbers (typically concerts and sporting events), the automatic car park system will be substituted with a manual system where GCCEC staff will collect monies on entry. The exit boom gates will remain up.

I have conducted two major formal dinners at GCCEC for approx 700 people each time, the more recent of these being held in March 2015. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of working with GCCEC and their performance in presenting our function.
