Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre Unveils “Love” Advertising Campaign

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) recently launched a new advertising campaign highlighting why the Centre’s success and reputation for service excellence is hinged on the dedicated professionals who love what they do.

The campaign concept and tagline ‘Love is in the details’ was born from the notion that even the tiniest details are of paramount importance to GCCEC team individuals, and of course in upholding the business philosophy. The team is strong because they really love what they do, and it shows.

An extension of the venue’s previous campaign ‘Love What You Do; We Do,’ GCCEC once again collaborated with renowned Gold Coast creative agency P’s In a Pod to celebrate the Centre’s most unique asset – the dedicated staff who remain key to contributing to the venue’s ongoing success.

Love is in the details campaign features five new advertisements each telling compelling stories of individual GCCEC staff members from key service departments – operations encompassing food and beverage service and general duties, events, audio visual and kitchen who take the utmost care and consideration in executing the smallest details to deliver the highest in service standards.

The most effective and engaging way to illustrate this was to show team members creatively in their working environment with everyday objects that are handled with great importance — 'the details', as it means the world to them, as it does for GCCEC clients.

GCCEC’s General Manager Adrienne Readings said the emotive nature of the campaign is reflective of the Centre’s commitment to service excellence and why the Centre’s reputation as a premier conference and events destination is well deserved.

“Sometimes its attention to the smallest detail which influences the overall event experience for our clients, which in turn continues to deliver world-class entertainment and business events to the Gold Coast,” said Adrienne.

“The GCCEC is always looking for new ways to enhance our product and offer creative and effective solutions for the ultimate event experience.

“Ultimately delivering exceptional events and outstanding customer service is what keeps our clients coming back.”

The Love is in the details campaign will run nationally for a minimum 12 month period and will feature in print and digital mediums and as part of the Centre’s internal branding.
