Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre shortlisted for Worldwide Convention Centre Team of the Year
Celebrating recognition once again, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre has been shortlisted for the Conference and Incentive Travel (C&IT) Excellence Awards.
Recognised on a global scale, the C&IT Awards celebrate companies applying best practice to the creation, planning, production and management of innovative and successful events within the B2B sector.
GCCEC has been shortlisted in the category of ‘Worldwide Convention Centre Team of the Year’.
The winner of the category will be announced at the awards presentation on 4 November 2011 at the Natural History Museum London.
GCCEC’s General Manager Adrienne Readings said the Centre already feels it has won by achieving recognition among other centres worldwide.
“Any positive recognition is fantastic but this one is especially sweet because it recognises our team who deliver great service day after day,” she said.
“Winning the category will solidify our reputation as Australia’s most successful convention centre and place us along with the best on a global stage.”
The C&IT Excellence Awards are open to all companies running events both in the UK and overseas.
Projects entered can include conferences, incentive programs, meetings, product launches, hospitality programs, congresses and conventions.
