Whether it’s an intimate meeting for 10 or a large-scale event for thousands, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is fully equipped with Cisco's Next-Generation 802.n wireless LAN Technology and is capable of connecting high speed access for 2,000 concurrent users in every public space within the building.

Invite your guests to browse the internet and check emails while out of the office from wherever they are within the venue with our free Wi-Fi service or make presentations a breeze with Barco’s premium innovative plug and play technology ClickShare, not yet available at any other convention centre in Australia.

With the ability to run a 10Gbps backbone with 1Gbps speeds at each endpoint, without sacrificing performance, the GCCEC offers a leading experience. Cabled data services are also available in every space throughout the Centre, providing the ability to send and receive video and audio throughout the venue.

We are passionate about what we do and have earned a reputation for attracting events that require some of the most complex and demanding technological intricacies in Australia. From setting up your own private network, to video conferencing and multifunction copier hire, our experienced in-house experts are here to assist in making your next event a success and can supply all your technological needs.

Please note GCCEC's Wi-Fi service is a limited service and is not recommended for conference exhibitors or users requiring high speed access. For those requiring more intricate event needs, our Information Technology Department can setup your own private network within the Centre for use with your conference, exhibition or even a gala dinner.

I have conducted two major formal dinners at GCCEC for approx 700 people each time, the more recent of these being held in March 2015. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of working with GCCEC and their performance in presenting our function. They were completely professional and were willing to do things exactly the way I wanted them done, even meeting some unusual requirements. When I requested to make layout changes only hours before the dinner the request was accommodated immediately and with professional ease. The dinner was an alternate drop three course full service meal with drinks package, and it was without a doubt the best formal dinner I have ever attended. I have managed many similar dinners in the past but this dinner achieved by far the best result, it was the easiest to organise and to then manage on the night. Our GCCEC functions manager was a competent and willing professional who achieved an absolutely flawless event. I am still trying to understand how the catering staff were able to prepare almost 700 perfectly cooked and presented meals and get them to the tables whilst still hot. An excellent event perfectly presented by cheerful and competent professional staff.
