Inaugural Australasian Hospitality and Gaming (AHG) Expo graces the GCCEC

In a first for Australia – and in the heart of the nation’s fastest growing regional city – three former state-based events have merged into one national expo to bring together some of the industry’s greatest leaders, experts and representatives under the one roof.

The inaugural Keno Australasian Hospitality and Gaming (AHG) Expo will launch at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) 10am Tuesday 24 March and showcase Australia’s innovation and leadership in hospitality, gaming, hotels, dining, lifestyle, culture and tourism over two unmissable days

Attracting industry leaders from the club, pub, hotel, casino and gaming business sectors throughout Australia, Asia, and New Zealand, the 2015 Keno AHG Expo is posed to be the benchmark for future collective industry expos within the Australasian region and is expected to attract up to 4,000 local, interstate and international visitors to the Gold Coast,.

Including displays and presentations from a line-up of more than 180 exhibitors, from boutique providores to large multinationals, all delegates will have the opportunity to be introduced to and learn about the latest in food and beverage, hospitality, catering and equipment, marketing and communications, finance and insurance, telecommunications, technology, security, gaming and so much more.

In addition to the above, the Expo has an extensive and free delegate education program that will examine industry trends and issues courtesy of the Rawsuga Soap Box Lectures, which are considered a must do on the event program.

Event CEO Doug Flockhart said that the 2015 Keno AHG Expo partners were thrilled with the registration numbers and event progress to date and that they were now counting down to the event launch on Tuesday 24 March.

“Already we have seen a fantastic response to the launch of this event via tremendous exhibitor interest and delegate registration numbers. The entire Expo exhibitor space sold out in just one week, which confirms overwhelmingly the extent of support for a Queensland based national show of this calibre,” he said.

“We have the show, we have the talent, we have the stage, now we’re looking forward to seeing the delegates swarming through the exhibits.

“We are sending a shout out to all Gold Coast hospitality businesses to send their staff to learn from and engage with industry leaders and innovators to ensure currency and efficiency in their business and to make sure they stand out from the ever growing crowd."
