The Centre is exclusive in size and is purpose designed and developed to ensure maximum flexibility and seamless flow in conferencing and meetings.

Dedicated organisers offices, registrations desk, exhibitor lounge, green rooms and support rooms. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre has set a new benchmark for conferencing and meetings in Australia and is where you will experience the difference.

Parent's Room

The GCCEC provides access to an on-site Parent's Room that is conveniently located on the ground floor of the building near the main entrance. Parents are provided with basic facilities. A drop down nappy station located in the bathroom next door. 

GCCEC Disability Features

The GCCEC is designed to ensure that people with a disability have equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the Centre’s services and facilities. 

Wheelchair access is available to all areas of the building, including wheelchair lift access from the car park where ample disability bays are located beside the elevator on the first basement level. Specially designed bathrooms are also located on all levels. In the Arena, wheelchair access seats are available in the cross-aisles which are designed with glass barriers for easy viewing. The Centre offers a height adjustable wheelchair lift for the Arena stage should this be required for events. 

Public bathrooms and lift facilities throughout the Centre have Braille signs, and a mobile hearing augmentation system ensures clearer reception throughout the venue. Tactile warning indicators to stairs, ramps and other changing conditions comply with all laws governing safety.
