The time-honored stories of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast will spring from the storybooks and onto the stage in Disney Live! presents Three Classic Fairy Tales, these summer holidays!

The enchanted journey starts when Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald and Goofy find a magical storybook hidden among a treasure trove of costumes and belongings from classic Disney tales. The iconic objects lead them to three classic stories of ‘happily ever after’ featuring Snow White, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. Along the way, you the audience are invited to join the fun by solving clues, dancing, clapping along and singing songs, as the stories unfold before your very eyes.

Jennifer served as the Founding President and Executive Director of SSV, then as Chair of the Board, and continues serving as a board member today.

Jennifer also helped the Los Angeles region’s business, government, academic, environmental, labour and community groups build their own climate action network.

She was recognised for her sustainability leadership work by the Multi-State Working Group on Environmental Performance and the Pacific Industrial Business Association.

About Sustainable Silicon Valley Sustainable Silicon Valley (SSV) is a business, government, and non-governmental partnership whose mission is to lead the Silicon Valley community to a more sustainable future. This coalition of Californian organisations applied the world’s first regional approach to EMS to reduce their impact on climate change.

The initial focus for SSV was to reduce energy usage from non-renewable sources by targeting a 20% reduction in regional carbon dioxide emissions. Another five priority issues have since been identified.

SSV was recently recognized by Cool California, received the 2007 Governor’s Environment and Economic Leadership Award and was a 2007 Climate All Stars award winner. In 2006, SSV received the US EPA Environmental Award for Outstanding Achievement.

This will be Powderfinger’s first major national tour since the hugely successful Across the Great Divide tour with Silverchair almost 3 years ago.

MC, James Mathison, welcomed the media to The Annandale Hotel in Sydney’s inner west, where Powderfinger sat on a same stage they first played on almost twenty years ago, and announced the details of their upcoming Sunsets tour before Bernard Fanning read a Statement on behalf of his fellow band members - Jon Coghill, John Collins, Ian Haug and Darren Middleton.

In that Statement, the band advised details of their most extensive tour of Australia ever - The Sunsets tour will include shows in 21 different cities across every state and territory and be stretched over a seven week period from early September through to late October.

Joining Powderfinger for all but the first three shows on Sunsets will be old friends, JET.

Taking on the support slot on the first three shows (Newcastle, Gold Coast and Brisbane) will be THE VINES in a rare live performance. The Asics Sport & Leisure Expo will be located adjacent to the Gold Coast Airport Marathon Registration Centre where participants collect their race bag prior to the Gold Coast Airport Marathon.
