The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) is expanding, to meet the ever increasing demand for larger space and concurrent sessions during national and international conventions and incentives.

The GCCEC will double its exhibition space by November 2008 with the completion of the planned $40 million Northern Extension. The Extension comprises of two additional halls, providing a total exhibition capacity of 10,000 sq metres, which can easily accommodate up to 580 exhibition booths. To see what is planned for the new addition, visit the downloads section of our website for a detailed CAD drawing.

When completed, the Halls will measure:
• Hall 1 – 1550m2
• Hall 2 – 1745m2
• Hall 3 – 1775m2
• Hall 4 – 1275m2

This Northern Extension will also mean the GCCEC will have in total 12 kitchens and 11 bars to add to the already impressive multi-award winning onsite catering facilities.
